On Saturday, August 27, Warren County Habitat for Humanity held its second Annual Bowling Event. Sponsored by Oakwood Lanes the event offered the opportunity to have a little fun while also raising construction funds. The event featured door prizes, raffles, 50/50, and “red-pin” bowling for free games. The money raised will be put to use as we finalize partner family homes in the duplex under construction in Port Colden.
Heartfelt thanks go out to Rob Plenge, owner and operator of Oakwood Lanes, and his team, for the generous donation of their time and their sponsorship to make this event a success. Also, we acknowledge and thank over fifty local businesses whose donated prizes, sponsored lanes, and donations contributed greatly to the event. Finally, special thanks to Habitat intern Joelle Dowling for coordinating the event planning.
If you or your group have an idea on how to raise future construction funds, call our office on (908) 835-1300 and ask for a member of our Resource Development team.
